Series 1 Motor Into A Series 2

The bottom end went on my series two engine. What im asking is If i buy the bare engine from a series one can I fit all my parts from my orginal motor on the series 1 engine and get on the road again or is the any difference in the two engines and fittings?

Yes. The primary differences between S1 and S2 engines are the methods of ignition. S1 uses an ingition chip to boost power to each coil, whilst S2 Coil packs each have an independent ignitor. Internally and mostly external save for some small electrical differences, they are identical. Since it's a bare block, your exterior attachments will all fit on perfectly.

yep traah221 is spot on. other than the coils, as already mentioned, use all the things like afm, tps and any other 3 letter abreviation you can think of from your old engine on the new one and it should be fine.
