R34 Headlight Globes

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and thought I would just like to say hey first of all

Now to business, just bought a 1999 n/a r34 and noticed the headlight on the left side was out when giving it a full service. Is there any particular headlight globes needed or some high powered ones from supercheap do the trick? I already searched the forums of general maitenece so that's why I decided to post up.

Cheers!

Easiest way is to pull out the old bulb and take it to Autobarn. Don't tell them which car it's for and hope they'll know, you'll almost definitely end up with the wrong bulb....

Depends if your headlights have been modified for compliance.

If not and you have the OEM Xenon lights, D2R:

Most Autoshops won't have them, and if they do, it would usually be a special order.

If it has been modified for compliance, then they are H1 bulbs, widely available at most auto spares stores.

Most Coupes come with the Xenon lights, it's usually the Sedans that come with standard halogen housings.
