The mirrors are a normal thing with C34s. All the other shit isn't so common but I'd take a guess that car used to live in snowy areas of Japan. They had a thing called a 'snow pack' where the Stagea got extras for the colder climate, but I can't remember exactly what the differences are to the norm.

Most have a red foglight on the drivers side rear tail light, rather than two reverse lights.

heated glass, heated leather seats , 4wd lock button i think starts it in 2nd gear or something(ive never used it), i have a

snow pack

Mine came from the snow up in the mountains..its not that bad for rust though, just around the mirrors and thats it

Id stay away from that one..its nasty

Yes I have the cold area optioned car as well, but no rust to speak of. The snow button near the console is the one that let's the car take off in 2nd gear, to help with wheels spinning off the line. The 4WD button on the dash just locks the ratio of 4WD to 50/50 front to rear wheels, I.e full time 4WD like a Subaru.

The heated front windscreen is great and those front seat warmers I just love them on a cold winters morning!

That one has too much rust for It to be viable, you can get much better condition cars for not so much $'s these days, Stageas have really come down in price over the last 3-4 years both locally and in Japan.

To answer the question- No That amount of rust is NOT normal, rust under the mirrors however is.

My RS4 has the usual rust under the mirrors which I periodically fix, but that is all

The 25G has alot of little bits, like where the steel clips that used to hold the weather strips on. There was significant rust holes, 20c sizein the lhs A pillar and in the body up where the loom come out to the tailgate. The strut towers were fixed by the owner to get RWC.

Funnily enough there is no rust under the mirrors.

The 25G is a typical example of a vehicle that had been driven in an area where salt was used in winter.
