hey guys,

i have a 96 r33 s2, and i changed my water pump yesterday (my first time doing this). now before taking off the timing belt i didnt top center the engine (stupid mistake). but when i put everything back together the everything was still in its natural state, i didnt move any of the pullies indepedantly. i also got a mate who's a mechanic to check it out before i start the car, and all the marks aligned properly. the first time i turned on the car there was a loud knocking sound from the engine, and it got louder with the revs. but this sound seems to kind of stop after the engine warms up properly. ive included a video so you guys can hear for yourself. whats the chances its the valves? or the shifters? could i have caused this when i changed the water pump?
