Speedo Stopped Working

hey guys, my speedo stoped working all of a sudden as i was driving, has anyone experianced this before? its a cable type and ive heard (if its plastic) the peice that goes into the gearbox wears out it can stop working, mabey the cluster is broken?

Also if your going to ask a question include more information, like what were you doing when it went out, what have you checked so far. Not just it's boken, why?

But check the ends of the cable at the transmission. That is where mine failed.

if not check behind the cluster, the plastic input on mine broke twice

Should be the speedo cable. Because my one is broken atm behind the cluster. Still looking for a speedo cable if anybody has one. from a a31 cefiro rb20e auto. in New Zealand

you can use them from any R32 or VL as long as it's machanical type.

I just bought one for a A31 off YAJ, just waiting for it to come in.

Damn! Good price!

I bought an R32 one recently (am waiting to fit it when i get back from o/s). Best price I found was ~$100 delivered for a new cable from Jesse Streeter in Japan. Nissan AU wanted $154 for them lol
