Hey guys, I'm replacing the pipework for the FMIC, because corrosion has ruined the appearance of the old ones where they are exposed through the front bar.

Is there any treatment I can apply to the new set to preserve the shiny finish for longer?

Thnx

Rub it back and respray the chrome stuff back on! Pretty sure Super Cheap auto sell it!

I assume you guys dont have the defect issues down there? If you did i would suggest black paint!

Don't buy the chromed pipes... they are cheap junk.

Buy the raw alloy or stainless pipes and polish them. The finish will last ages and if it ever stars to look dull you can just re polish them.

I have one of those cheap pipes myself, you will find the material is just crap which causes it to do that. If you look inside the pipe there will be scale and pock marks in there too.

No you would cop a defect for FMIC these days and having chrome pipes is like painting a target on your car!
