A/c Vent On Feet Blowing When A/c Not On

Hey guys,

Had my 33 just over 6 months now and I also know I need my a/c re-gassed. Anyway for the last week or so I've been feeling really warm air, (as if its air from the engine bay), coming through the air con vents at the feet in both the driver and passenger side. This is when the air con is off. When I turn the air con on and set it to just the chest vents, it will then stop blowing at the feet. Any suggestions why it keeps blowing at the feet when off?

Check its on recycle and only on chest vents when turned on

could have a faulty flap motor?

In a 32 you turn it down to it's lowest setting before turning A/c off.

That stops warm air but wether it stops blowing on your feet let us know.
