You sort of need the timing chain... Why would you need to rip the pump out?

The stock fan provides way more flow than any thermo setup...

Timing chain?? Huh???

Re clutch fan, Its noisy,

Takes up room for other shit I.e catch can could sit nicely in front of motor.

There is plenty of room under the airbox for a catch can.

The stock fan is noisy because it is moving a lot of air. Have you seen the blades? A decent thermo will make more noise again and use more energy to flow less air. The series 2 M35 uses two large thermo's but it doesn't run as hot either.

The water pump runs off the main cam chain, and provides an idler function. You can't remove it or your engine won't run.

I have twin davies craig thermos with a custom shroud. If you decide to go down this path, then a shroud is a must. I also have a large alluminium radiator and with all of this replacing the standard set up there is very little gain in space in the engine bay...if that is your main reason for doing it.

I'm using twin thermo's in my C34 S2, only because i'm using a 2 core aluminum radiator. Also using a custom alloy shroud too.

To turn the the fans on i'm using a fan controller. They make more noise than the standard fan.

Oh I forgot you car has chronic overheating problems at anything other than street driving. Probably why the clutch fan is stuck on all the time.

Maybe some well designed twin thermos, say off a pnm35 might be able to sort that. :P

Try running that power and see what temps your engine gets to. (Oh, that's right. Glass bottom end, sorry)

If I was to run twin thermo's, the V35 setup you have would be the obvious option, but I have no need atm. I prefer to see results from my modification, not go backwards. :P
