Could be any variable, exhaust/intercooler set-up can usually allow stock PSI levels to increase slightly, because of increases flow/efficiency.

You may even have a small air leak or PSI drop.

Get you system pressure tested (with a compressor/fittings etc) to make sure its 100% air tight. I thought because I couldn't hear any leaks it was fine. But after actually putting 5psi into my piping with the engine off, I could hear leaks left right and centre.

Car now runs fine and pulls hard
