I picked up some rolls of blue and red contact (the stuff I used to cover my school textbooks with to protect them) from the local newsagent

Just a couple of bucks and cut a triangle out with scissors for battery and tow indicators

nope, suspect bottom-end failure. wasn't enough to blow a hole in the block thankfully. no June PI for me though

That sucks leroy what was your best time?

1 lap before the motor carked it was a 1:29.7 i think. Was running on low boost, and shifting early all day to keep in the torque range... might have accidently over-revved it once, hope that wasn't it. Temps were great all day, suffered a little bit from oil burning when braking.

I've never been much of a fan for the 35R's but the two out there on Saturday sounded fantastic with speed to match. Artz said he may have got some video footage.

Great time! Interesting to see the top speed a stock 35R reaches at Sandown

Here's mine as a comparison to Aaron's. Top speed was 249km/hr. For reference mine has around 360awkw's currently.
