the gtr will be tough to beat off the line, do you know what its trap speed was?

I was trying a few different things to get a better launch - trap speed varied from 125mph - 129 mph.

Think I've got the launch control sussed now, so will be heading out again on Saturday to try and sneak into the 10's.

It's a 35 GTR it doesn't need a chute it needs twin anchors.

Mine is going back in for some more work, Then another trip to Willowbank is on the cards.

I'm sure there's a thread already. But that R35 had a COBB ECU (normal settings) and exhaust upgrade (I think). So to do a 10.9 will not take much more mods to achieve that.

The pink Torana did a 12.2, I dont see it on your lists.... Plus its tires are 12 years old. With good rubber it should do very low 11's or maybe a high 10.

The R35 has currently got an off-the-shelf tune from willall and cats back exhaust and mid-pipe. Custom tune to be done soon to hopefully get a little more out of it. There's a 10 in it now if the driver can get his sh!t together.

Re running 10's at willowbank, they changed the rules quite a while back. If you have a modern car with disk brakes and airbags you can run 10.0 without needing a cage or chute. I've run quite a few of 10's in the GTE without getting booted.

We seem to forget that sub 13 is still a quick car however. Hell my car runs 14 flat and it is plenty fast enough for a daily driver
