Hey all.

I am in the process of organising a group purchase on stainless Dump Pipes, Front Pipes and Hi Flow Cat for R33 GTST owners who currently run a cat-back only system. The front sections will be 3 piece not single, in stainless steel and are being manufactured by Hi Tech Mufflers in Sydney.

I will post a price and date for the group fitment shortly.

Please let me know if you are interested

These will be high grade and very well made products, a must for those wanting a full system on their GTST

Jim: yeah im running an HKS Hyper Cat back so a nice front and dump pipe with cat is a good way to finish it off.

Nick

Hey guys,

Once again thanks for your interest in this idea. I have spoken to Hi Tech this morning and the price is looking at approx $700 or just under for the following:

Stainless 3 inch custom dump pipe

Mandrel bent stainless 3 inch front pipe

3 inch hi flow cat converter

this will take a few weeks to organise as they need to make a jig to allow this quantity to be made quickly.

Please confirm if you are still interested.

Thanks..

Nick

WiL

The order goes,

From Turbo

Dump Pipe/Front Pipe/Cat/Rear section/Muffler

I assume you have a cat back? if so has your cat been replaced? you will most likely need a front pipe and dump pipe and cat as well

    • Excuse me for butting in....but which part of ADHD can be considered a superpower? I would have though it far more likely that some ASD comorbidity is more likely to be contributing to an ability to hyperfocus on something. ADHD being aimed somewhat in the other direction. My shed looks like your shed. My whiteboard list of unfinished projects has entries going back 15 years. I know what you're talking about - I just struggle to connect ADHD to the results being discussed.
    • Thanks for reaching out!  It's a blessing and a curse at the same time.  I'm undiagnosed but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it in me... I have more half started projects laying around my house, shed, garden, etc taking up space and money, destroying aesthetics than if I added up all of my mates projects together. But, ADHD gives me the ability to hyper focus on things that no mere mortal could even  comprehend.  A recent pool build is an example of that....  I dont know anyone else that would be dumb enough and focused enough to take on then complete something of that magnitude. I call ADHD a superpower but it can equally be completely destructive if not controlled and focusedon the right places. Addiction is a major concern to ADHD people and thankfully my addictions have been no worse than projects, XBOX, chocolate and being an arsehole! It's often hereditary and my 13 year old son is currently learning how to drive it at the moment. Keep lurking! If i can finally finish this bloody thing at some point it will be a win for all of us ADHD'ers! 🤪
    • I've been quietly following this thread for ages, but this one got me. Since my ADHD diagnosis (and associated learnings and prescription) I'm way less inclined to wade into forum yarns when there are better things to do with my time, as half the time I'd end up in some kind of forum debate even if that wasn't my intention. I've not lost the ADHD "superpowers", just am a lot better at directing my hyperfocus into slightly more constructive things, but haven't stopped quietly lurking in here in my spare time.
    • Stripped the tank down and gave it a good scrub. It came up really good! Not sure if I'll just put it back in like that or give it a blackening treatment (such as Bowdens The Black Box). That might give it a matte look so might just run it as is.
    • @MBS206 Ha ha, yeah ADHD is a daily battle to not get drawn in to doing things you want to do that you know you shouldn't do!  Every single time I walk into my shed I end up doing something I started the day having zero intention of doing! I keep mentioning the 1 step forward, 3 steps back scenario and I'm tipping people that are blessed with ADHD (yes, blessed) are the worst at that!
