Short Shifter Urgent Help! R33 Gtst

Hey guys I need help.

Just tried to install a short shifter in my r33. Installed it tested it, only would go into 1st mayb 3rd if i was lucky, tried to take it out to have a good look.......problem is the bloody thing is stuck. Unbolted all the plates and shit, but can't physically take out the shifter. its like the nylon bush thing is stuck in the box and I can't pull it out....any ideas?

Did you use the bush that came with the kit? if so.. then there's your problem. It has probably dislodged itself in the box.

if the bush has fallen off, shifter should come out easy, how hard was it getting it in, in the first place? was it specifc kit for 33?

Shake it around whilst lifting up it should pop out. The selectee bit sometimes falls sideways causing it to stick in like what your saying. You'll then have to put it into the right position with a screwdriver

You tightened the bracket too far to begin with.
