Cleaning Roof Trim

I just bought a stock sunroof for my 34. It came with the original roof trim, only issue is that it's a bit dirty. What's the best way to wash this? I don't want to wash it, and have a dark shade all over the trim, or dark patches in certain areas. Is there any products that specialize in cleaning delicate materials?

Maybe a carpet cleaner?

Scrub at it then use the carpet cleaner to suck up the water

get it steam cleaned...just ask around some detailing/car wash places...shouldn't cost too much

If you have a wet/dry vacumn you can do it that way too...thats what i would do but steam cleaning is probably better
