Trust TD-06 turbo

just a question friend mentioned he getting a Trust TD-06 Turbo on his r32 gtst.. he quoted somewhere that this is about 450+ hp turbo..

does anyone have any experience or specs on this turbo..

any problems with them..

He may get there with a TD06-25G, but i wouldnt be expecting that sort of power from an RB20 with simply a turbo bolted on... will need all the ancillaries, and probably cams to make the power in a rev range that is still useable.

ahh it has a rb25 in it probably with worked cams as well..

is it the jms car? its a tdo6 19c.. made 306rwkw on 1.6bar.. mite work out to be 450hp at engine?

Sorry i have trouble accepting the figures fromt the JMS car with the TD06-19C.

Not saying it didnt make those numbers, but it was using race fuel, huge boost and i think you will find that the engine was rebuilt after an engine failure in that state of tune...so shouldnt be quoted as a realistic power level form this turbo.

I think MattR was the former owner of the car and i think he will tell you what power the turbo made on normal fuel, it was nowhere near 306rwkws

yea i forgot to mention that sorry roy! hah.. was a rb25 too.. had microtech and diff intake plenum. was on 1.6bar i think.. im sure i saw a picture of it and a caption saying 234rwkw but didnt say what boost etc.
