VQ is still sitting on workshop floor, but we have since turned back to utilising the existing SR instead :) Wanting something more brutal than linear.

Ah ok, so no result expected then? HTA on the SR? :P

25/30 with 3076 .82 ex gate.... do it... power fkn everywhere...

I dunno they're all the same..."which turbo for my rb25"...It seems nobody knows the answer...

3076 + RB25 is a match in every way! Its tried and tested and a good all round package...... The GTX version seems to have been a flop for those wanting daily response...... That HTA concept sounds good but no real results as yet to go off...... Precision seems to have good options like the 5558 which responds well on Kurtis's 34......... Kando and HG have good options too......... LOTS of good turbos for RB25

Well Lithium's neck is on the line so he obviously knows something about these FP turbos..... Try one and report back so i can copy if it works

Freddy plenum with Q45 TB..500$$.

vs

Plazman and TB 2000$

I know which i would choose

I discovered the hard way with the Freddy that you need to get the face machined flat before installation.... coolant coming out of the exhaust is not good. Lots of stress and thought the engine was fkd.

I tried 2 of them with similar results till I machined it and problems went away... so if you Freddy it, just make sure it is machined flat!!

You get what you pay for ;)

well any body that has read this forum thoroughly would know this and get it machined...others would just hand a big pile of cash to JEM and let them worry about it... ;)

Haha ouch! I handed it to Plazmaman thankyou very much
