gotta say,

its a pretty funny idea i dont think i would wanna try it, BUT i do like the LED lights for the r33 copy tail lights in EVO-LEE's link that he put up, they are a lil different and pretty cool...

Guys you if you want LED tail lights you can make them yourself it isn't hard or you can now buy them off the shelf here. The names of the shop escapes me at the moment. But the question is changing your tail light defectable, I pretty sure all those Lancers and Civics with Euro tail lights can be defected.

That's why I said this is probably the origin of rice - SE Asia is generally a poor country and an Evo or GT-R cost almost 3-4 times more then the Japan price IIRC.

their not defectable if DOT approved but the ones at autobarn arent DOT approved, ones from mitsubishi are. but cops wouldnt notice the difference. gotta take the tail light out to see the stamp saying DOT approved. but my lancer was lol, not DOT approved geez only paid $150 for the tails while my mate paid $450 from mitsubishi lol, no difference at all.

i admire the work done to those cars just not their choice of kit lol the time taken to make them up would of been astounding

The silver one is OK, if you weren't paying much attention you'd prolly just think its like any other Skyline (apart from the fact 4 door GTRs are as rare as hens teeth and the 4 door GTS-t's have diff tail lights) but that purple...'thing' is awful...KILL IT NOW!!!

the first one (silver) is a current modle (or near) BMW 3 series. so that would add to the cost alot.

the eclipse looks alot like a 300zx with no wing. not too bad, but the tail lights still look a little out of place.

Do they know what an Eterna is...it's the wedge shapped Magnas. They must have done a shitload of custom work to the car.

I was thinking a MMC UK delivered Carisma looked the closest but the boot is too high compared to the rear door line as well.

It may in fact be a 3 series BMW, they have high boots...so good spotting.

That ain't no 3 Series BMW... look at the centre crease line on the BMW, the crease goes right through the door handles. That "thing" with the R33 lights, bumper etc has a similar crease line, yet the door handles are positioned below the line.

Yeah, looks like malaysia or around that area. Can't be singapore since you're not supposed to modify anything on your car or else the government takes it, but OMG, a friend there paid over $90k for a little hatchback... I wouldn't pay anything over $15k here for the same car...

Skylines are expensive and fairly rare over there... My fiancee lived there and all the guys she worked with just couldn't accept the fact that I was rich enough to own a skyline (having no idea how cheap they are here)... So she showed them a pic rofl!

I've seen a lot of new cefiro's over there though. Wish I had my camera at the time.
