Installing A Single Poncam In R33

Hello all.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question but I picked up a single tomei poncam for the nvcs side for a decent price and was wondering if I needed the other side as well right away for the install or if its fine to run 1 poncam and one stock cam.

Can you run mismatched cams without damaging the engine is my question.

I doubt it would do any damage, but it probably won't give you any noticeable gains in power. There is always the small chance that it may result in a loss of power

Anyone know how I could go about and order the poncam I'm missing since usually they are bought in pairs ?
