Nistune Ecu

i need advice i have just changed my throttle body on my r34 gtt rb25 auto to a 80mm throttle body and need to know if you can take the tcs and steeper motor information out of the ecu cause my car wont run with it gone but cant change the car back to the standard throttle body

Yes you can so long as you have Nistune

Youll need to get your local Nistune tuner to make the changes and retune if necessary.

The two solutions have been to switch to a Stagea image (not TCS/ABS in there to worry about) or to stick with an R34 image and turn off the flags for DTCs for those systems. I tried the former and didn't like the way that the Stagea image did a few things. Then tried the latter (once Matt from Nistune and I worked out that there were accessible flags to kill the DTCs with) and it has been fine. BUT....I must stress, I have not as yet tried to turn up the boost and tune it. Earlier efforts with R34 ECUs and ~290rwkW have caused the ECU to chuck in a panic mode fuel/ignition cut sort of thing that hasn't been easily fixable. So when I do boost mine up, I may be in for a surprise ....which hopefully won't be too long, although I'm not aiming to go that high anyway, so maybe I won't suffer.

Anyway, this has been discussed on here a few times before (and even quite recently) so have a search.
