Melb Shop With Smoke Leak Tester For Vacuum Leak?

Hi All,

As the topic states I am looking to diagnose a potential vacuum leak and would like to find somewhere with a smoke test machine.

Preferably out west but I have tried quite a few with no luck, so happy to travel.

Any help much appreciated!

Spray some carby cleaner around where you think its leaking and see if the revs change.

Only said carby cleaner from memory. Someone might have a better product to use?

Yeah tried that but could only reach about half of the connections. I have heard brake cleaner also.

Pretty keen to do a full smoke test, but thanks.

Sabbadin automotive did a thorough check of my car with the smoke machine. I recommend them if its not too far from where you reside.

Rob at Sabbadin Auto was excellent. Went there today and he found no leaks which is good but bad cause I am trying to troubleshoot a hesitation near idle.

For future reference the following places had a smoke leak tester:
