to make a beast of an engine out of a patrol 4.2 petrol (TB42E i think)

this with a big single or twins in a gtr would haul serious ass

Well for starters, the engine would be fairly heavy, not fit in a gtr.

And a patrol engine makes like 110kw, its all torque, not kw power.

Better off using a performance designed engine for performance if u ask me

Definately better off in the why bother thread me thinks... If you were set on using some kind of big block you'd be better off going for a VH45DE, 4.5L nissan V8 used in some of the infinity models, and i think in the nissan president, as well as destroked to 3.5L to be used in the R390 Le Mans Car
