In regards to the contact informationg displaying Real Name, interests and current cars etc issit possible to display these things again?

Since there are so many people on this forum - I kinda knew people by their real names via looking at their contact card instead of their forum name. Also, I like to see what peoples interests were and their pride and joy (Their car which was listed).

I relyed heavily on those contact cards which have now disapeared not to mention the lol factor it brought when people listed some things :P

Hopefully this can return back or if off by deafult but a user can choose to enable it for public viewing.

Cheers,

Jeremy.

Hi Jeremy,

Yes we will likely bring it back over the weekend. We've had a bout of really high-load instances which has brought the site down in recent times, so I disabled any additional query-executing functionality in an attempt to get it under control.

It is now under control and it seems that the additional sidebar info was not to blame (and does not bring any additional heavy queries with it) but I just want to watch the server for another day or two before I do that.

    • Connected to plenum towards the rear end. Yes, absolutely required for the ECU. Even Nistune can't save you if you don't have it.
    • Can confirm solenoid makes no difference. I finally removed the solenoid and the wire off my engine loom and there is no issue with boost. Keep in mind, this is the solenoid, and I've got a Nistune. After the boost controller, I ran the car for a day with the solenoid unplugged - no issue. So then I just ripped the whole thing out. Like @GTSBoy mentioned before, the ECU just sends an earth signal for the 2-stage boost. And looking at the wire going into the solenoid, that just had 2 standard wires and did not look important 🤣 As for boost sensor: I saw somewhere that the vacuum line the gauge uses is at the back of the engine on the driver side. I never touched that but assume ECU uses that??? (maybe? Just assuming)

    • Im also amazed how well Attessa holds up to all of the abuse. Especially with the burnouts and crap you guys used to do at Texi!
    • True! I think I'm closer to 06 with the cameras in phones being out there more. And the nearly impossible to use internet web browsers. Or paying for ring tones... Man I hated when we couldn't just compose a ringtone on a Nokia anymore! These days I just hate it if my phone rings, beeps, boops, or vibrates!
