Hey guys,

Thought I would do a quick intro.

I'm currently in the process of selling my Evo VIIIMR FQ-340 (UK Edition).

For some reason, as much money as I spent modifying it I never really fell in love with it which I was kind of devo'd about as I really liked the car when I bought it.

After having one of my customers take me for a run in his 300kw 32 GTR I knew I had found a replacement for my Evo.

It had all the characteristics I was looking for in a car, it had some fight, plenty of torque, pedigree and it loves to rev.

I know how expensive these things are to build and fix so the next big hurdle is to find a nice, clean starting base.

Anyway, I could blabber on for ever but hopefully I can find the right car.

Cheers.

Also, if someone could point me in the direction of a good comprehensive brake down on the 32GTR models in regards to things to look out for, changes and revisions between models and which models are the pick of the bunch that would be awesome. I know of the crank walk issue on earlier models but haven't found anything that confirms which model had the issue fixed.

Thanks in advance

welcome.

first of all, evo8, noice.

secondly, gtrs are alot larger/heavier through the curves.

3rd, if I havnt scared you off, read on...

there is a guide on here somewhere as to buying your first skyline.

in regards to models etc.

started 89, went to 94.

I believe it to be 8/93 is the crank change.

if its a street car with small amounts of work, dont be too concerned.

I believe the vspec and vspec 2 had brembos and bbs from factory.

n1s are highly sort after, and rare.

the rarest I believe are the aust delivered, which command high prices.

i were to do it all again, I would find a car that had been built by a reputable workshop, with recipts.

rather than paying through yhe nose to build mine.

no waiting, no hassles, just jump in, drive and enjoy.

doing the little tweaks you want along the way.

seing you have an evo, keep an eye out for people who may want to trade cars.

hope you find what youre after.

and enjoy the forum.
