I see that these are starting to trickle into NZ. Late models, low kms = higher prices. Have they made their appearance in Oz yet and does anyone know what they are like, performance, spec, fuel economy wise?

I have been looking at Toyota Highlander/ Kluger but higher alleged fuel consumption and smaller tank puts me off. Range, for me, counts. I have seen 9.7 l / 100 kms for the Nissan quoted, with 80 l tank, which is more to my liking. Cruise control is my desire too and not sure if this comes as standard in Japan.

Yeah, there are a couple floating around. I've been looking, more out of interest than serious want. We have Infiniti now, who have brought the FX range out here, so you can buy a V8 crossover brand new for $110,000 or so for a premium model.

One import on carsales at the moment 2009 v6 for $44k. 8000kms, which I bet is BS.

Not sure if they are available for import, or if its just personal imports coming in.

May be a real car, they are eligible for SEVS import so the price sounds reasonable for 2009.

No point trying to compare Nissan OZ / Inifinti OZ robbery to free market prices....they want $86k for a v36 skyline afterall.

BTW I'd have to say I'm not a fan of the shape.....worst thing I've seen since Subaru Tribeca or Porsche Cayenne

Prestige Motorsport regularly have them in their Car of the Day email with rough L&C pricing so I'd say they are able to be brought in.

Yeah, I looked and the 3.7 versions are available on SEVS. Unfortunatly, I don't think the V8 was sold in Japan. A 370gt four premium with the black interior would be nice, the styling is an acquired taste. I don't mind it, but looks a quite a bit like the Porsche IMO

Just sold my CKV36 and seriously considering an NJ50 Crossover.

If only Nissan had made the Stagea with a VQ37 and an interior like the V36 :whistling:

Instead they killed off the Stagea in favor of the Skyline Crossover.

I will be pondering of this thought for some time.

The Skyline Crossover is simply too small compared to the Stagea!!!!

I WILL WRITE TO NISSAN AND COMPLAIN..

Dear Mr. Nissan,

Please make me an M36 Stagea with VQ37, 7 speed SAT or 6 speed manual and all the tricks found in your V36 Range of Skylines.

Your Skyline Crossover (Infiniti EX) is simply too small and your Infiniti FX, which is so very very nice, is just too expensive.

I cant find one for less than $59,000.

If you wont make me my very own M36 Stagea then I will have no choice but to consider buying a near new VF Crumbadore SSV Redline or wait another 12 months for a few more used Infiniti FX's to pop up.

Yours Sincerely.

I just don't get why people think the VQ37 is a lesser engine to the VR38. It has a much more impressive head/cam design with constantly variable intake exhaust and lift. The much simpler VR38 is essentially a stroked VQ35 with egr.

Same thing I see with the RB26, just because it's in a 'GTR' it must smash all the competition. Well imo the RB26 is a crappy old engine designed in WW2 for Jap tanks. Love them all you like, nothing can change that fact.

Was just saying the VR38 because comes out the factory with turbo and I threw in the V8 with turbo because lets face it... If you're going to make a request may aswell make it the most ridiculous request ever right? I mean why stop at the VQ37?
