I wish there was a way to get a proper dos setup on a modern computer so you could run old games without dicking around. Especially just using a dos menu program. I think the one I used to use as a kid was quick menu. I still have some of my old games from when I was a kid. Some dos based, some early Windows based. I have need for speed 2, 3 and 4 all on cd, and x-wing.

I downloaded the demo and the driving physics are definitely different to GT5. Using the R35, turn in is much sharper and you have more of an idea of how far you can push the grip you have. Graphics are a little sharper but the main thing was the clarity of distance. Sound is only slightly improved.

Check out Dosbox, or if you're lazy you can get X-Wing from gog.com.

Fairly sure the older NFS games can be made to work with Windows 7, as I got my original copy of NFS:SE to work after some fiddling.

I've used dosbox in the past.

I know that NFS 3 works in Windows xp. I had it on my work computer for a while. Was pretty heavy on resources though.

Jap Devs are failing big time with new gen consoles. First it was the legendary Winning Eleven aka PES to be overtaken by FIFA now FORZA has overtaken GT. GT5 was absolutely shit! I returned the game back within 30mins of purchasing it. Lets hope GT6 is alot better. I wish we had Forza on PC !
