Unknown Plug

Hey every body

I was poking around under the dash the other day when i was putting in a boost gauge and i would a 3 prongded female plug, kind of like this.....

I got to thinking that it looked like a turbo timer plug so i found an old timer and hooked it up, but nothing happened, is there any way to find out what brand it is or if it works or not?

could be anything. When you hooked up the turbo timer, how did you manage that without knowing what the plug did?
