Im stuck at tafe and have been trolling through eBay. I came across a Nissan tuning chip. Here is the link - http://bit.ly/18dr2XJ .

I'm wondering if this is just some stupid thing on eBay or if it's any good. I'm after any ones feed back I they've purchased one or if every heard of it?

Haha ill take the haltech off your hands ;)

Sounds like a good deal!

Do yourself a favour and learn some stuff at tafe, then you wont have to be trolling for useless paper weights!

He's marking our tafe assignments, so we just have to sit here. It's great fun....

Well do some reading on SAU on how to properly modify your car :P If you want it ebay spec then buy some spinner hubcaps and neons as that is about the extent of the performance you are likely to get haha

Notice the ad says "with raised boost" and "with intake and exhaust mods", which of course is going to make more power

Raising the rev limit is about all i can see it does and doing that with a small stock turbo is kind of a waste of time imo lol

could work, could not..

best to ask for the ignition table and also the injection table.. then ask for a A/F plot for the car with those mods

Most likely the "tuner" that made the chip just trimmed off the igntion table, upped the rev limiter and tidied up the A/F.

I bought one of those "chips" but off CEFF13 on this forum like 5+ years ago, I banged it on my RB20DET and used a wideband O2, happy with the results. Had decent A/Fs and my rev limiter was set at 7500rpm.

These days, standalone, they're so easy to tune and not to mention cheaper than back then!

Haha I figure it would be some thing pointless, I just wanted to know if some one had actually bought one before. I'm slowly building my gtst and saving for a nisstune. Apprentice wages suck :(

Haha we all gotta start somewhere! I went through that years and years ago and you are right, it farken sucks!
