Keep it twin turbo and simply tune it for response. No VCT makes for a very doughy spool. Should I say NEO conversion? Or perhaps blow the coin on a Vcam upgrade instead?

Use a 2860rs it will have awesome response

i like you're thinking with response, but wouldn't that be a tad tsmall even with .84?

I haven't heard of people doing that with a rb25/26, nor have i seen many pepople run twin 2860rs on a rb26 due to the flange being different

IMO

Step up from twin -7's

Response and 300kw's+

is

Garrett GTX3582R Package or Precision 6262

Response and 400kw's.

Nice for the street and some track work.

A good price? $6k-$10k depending on the mods you have to support..

Of course. For the same old reasons!

HTA GT3582R = 59mm inducer, 82mm exducer - ~74lb/min

GT3582R = 61mm inducer, 82mm exducer - ~65lb/min

GTX3582R = 63mm inducer, 83mm exducer,- ~76lb/min

Normally you have to decide between the laggiest and the most powerful, In this case an HTA all but lets you have your cake and eat it too :)
