Wiper Problem

The windscreen wipers have suddenly stopped working. The tailgate wiper is OK. Fuse in inside fuse box is OK.

When I turn the ignition on to "Acc" the wiper arms move just a bit with a slight clunk. When I turn the key off, it does the same, and this is with the wiper control arm in the OFF position.

Any clues please.

Curious problem ! I did some reading and some skyline owners have had faulty ignition switches cause this.

Some said that there is a blue relay down in the drivers side ( near the fuses or possible behind kick panel ) that could cause the issue.

Something is making it get moments of power at on and off. Which could point to a bad ignition switch, indicator switch, relay or wiring issue.

Have you fiddled with anything prior to the issue occurring ?

This is a private import 25G. There are some weird wires and connectors under the dash. There are four blue relays on the fuse box panel. Will take them out and test them
