installing injectors (rb25) any help.

hey just got some sard 550cc injectors with colers. Has any one installed straight fit injectors and can give me a run down. I can see two bolts that hold the fuel rail on can you undo them and slide the rail out with the injectors in them? Or is the only way to remove the top harf of the plenum? (looks like a mission to get to the bolts on the TD side of the plenum.)

Any help would be great, dint find anything in a search.

Hmm ive never done it before but ide say youll have to remove the plenum.

How much did the Sard direct fit 550cc injectors cost you?

I got the same sard injectors in my car, and they are not true fit or easy to install.

The first time they were put in, they would piss out fuel everywhere.

Keep the old o rings from the stock injectors coz u need to use te old and new o ring to get them to seal properly!!!!

did you install them or a work shop. so you have to lay the sard rings on top off the stock. Did it all work out apart from that?

workshop installed them, but i heard about all the dramas, and it held up the finishing of my car.

Yes sard o rings ontop.

I actually had to pull them out again and get them checked cause i kept getting idle surges coz 1 of em was still leaking.
