S15 Wiring & Ecu Question (Sr20 Into A Gemi)

Hey guys, basically my mate has a TX Coupe and is in the process of putting a S15 SR20DET into her.

Now it's known that the engine is from a Jap Spec.

My question(s) are;

1) Can I use Aus or Jap Spec engine wiring harness

2) Can I use Aus or Jap Spec ECUs?

From quick glance some pinouts are different on the ECU, but say I got a Aus Spec ecu and Aus Spec engine wiring harness, will this run the Jap Spec engine?

I've got both looms and ECU's on hand. will do a side by side comparison for you tomorrow. But having taken both JDM and ADM motors out in the past week, I haven't noticed anything majorly different.
