Hi Folks,

Well, spent all week end puttin in stereo bits & pieces from old car into new line.

Sony CDX-CA690X Head Unit

Kicker 6.2 Splits at front

Kicker 6.1 Splits at rear

Kicker 12" Sub in boot

Kicker Amp driving Sub

Sony Xplode Amp driving Front & Rear 6.5"s

Now, my car came from Japan with a Nacamishi Mini Disc - And the Sony has an AUX/MD input RCA. Now I've conected up the MD to the Sony, but when I press 'source' it never goes to the MD -

The MD has a wire for Remote MD function - I take this to mean that this is the signal that tells the Head Unit that the MD is connected and also the activation line/signal for when the 'source' MD is selected.

Anyone know how I can activate my MD from the Sony CDX-CA690X ??? - ie which wires go where to make it work ??

Many Thanks,

Oh , P.S.

I'll be selling the Nacamishi CD/Tuner plus Naca 5.25" splits with cross overs etc. If interested - I'll post in classifieds when ready to sell

Damn nice speakers those Naca's - If I knew they were installed I wouldn't have bought the kickers.

BTW - New Stereo pumps like a biatch.
