I need tyres

Hey all

I just bought some 17" Volk TE85 rims 17x9 rear and 17x8 front and i was wondering if you could recommend some tyres or a shop in perth that arent going to cost me a kidney but are still great quality.

im guessing u only have 1 kidney left after buying these... new or 2nd hand.

go for some kumhos or falkens or something. cheapish performance tyre.

Trampio TPG's seem to be quite popular at the moment..... not sure on exact $$$ mark though per tyre... i SHOULD be getting some very soon!

The wheels i got i cant find any info or pics on them ANYWHERE on the net!!

They are the same ones on the gtr in the link i put on below, except his are white and 18's mine are 17's and silver..

Just got a set of Toyo Transpath's on my daughters Scooby.

Seemed OK for a "cheap" "performance" tyre.

At $189 fitted for a 215/45-17 seemed a pretty good price as no name brands produced in outer Mongolia go for that sort of money.

Seemed OK in the damp although the daughter's car is not all that powerful.

Got them from Joondalup Tyrepower.

Try WestState Tyres in Bentley ask for Mark or Andy and say Dave from RCT recommended you see them. They will look after you.

dont get kumho... they wear out way too quickly...

i know my next tyre is gonna be a harder compound tyre.. i cant afford to replace tyres every 6 months!

thanks for the help guys ill try a few places and see wat happns..

Oh and my rims arent te85s as the gtr had there called TE-DAY Rims. They look quite similar as those gtr rims but these rims must be pretty rare as ive spent hrs on the internet trying to find some info or a pic of these rims and came up with absolutly nothing!!!
