Hi,

Just wondering if 145kw dyno result is ok or not as I cant seem to find anything to convert kw wheels to kw engine accurately to compare to new out the factory and below.

1994 R33 GTS-T

220,000km on the clock

Pod Filter

Hybrid Intercooler

12PSI Boost

3" Exhaust

Thanks

That seems rather low from what I normally see. Mine is a 96' series 2 and I have the same basic mods, with a few more, walbro 255 fuel pump, Profect electronic boost controller and a nistune board on rb20 ecu, and mine made 210kw at the hubs on 12 psi.

thanks, i think my turbo might need upgrading as it has a loud whistle to it when it spools (unless that is normal). car runs very smooth and engine sounds nice so i dont think there is anything else other than that mechanically except new coils sometimes im get popping at 4500rpm under load. tax cheque or annual bonus will fix that up for me!!!

that's pretty low, mine was 195kw with 11psi at that level of mods, id be checking the compression , check for restrictions/boost leaks

I think having a pod will make it whistle more and also having exhaust leaks, the exhaust manifold could be warped and a few studs broken.

Ask the guys who did the dyno run what the afr's were like. My guess is that it's a mix of them being a bit rich, the timing probably needing a bit of a bump up, and the engine being a bit tired that is causing the low numbers you got (you are about 40kw under the normal output for those mods)
