R33 Half Shafts, Which Shaft Goes Where ?

Hey guys,

Picked up an R33 VLSD and matching half shafts.

Which side does each respective shaft go into ? Obviously I have one long and one short.

The shorter shaft has a C clip on it, is it difficult to get the shaft in with that clip on the end ? Should the longer shaft also have a clip ?

Any help is much appreciated,

Both should have c clips. The correct side to put thenm in is easy. Just take a look in each hole with a torch. You'll soon work it out.

Ok figured it out.

Longer shaft goes on the right side (vent tube side)

Shorter goes on the right

Longer shaft does not have a provision for a C clip
