thanks for all the 2 cents worth.....me personally if i was in the same position with g/f that lived a 40 min drive away; that would translate into a what.....2 hour+ public transport run each way.......stuff that! My rule is dont go out with any1 that ldoesn't live on the same page as u on the melways.......lol.

Anyhows getting off the trivial bulls**t and back to the original question - anyone else got any input regarding penalties for driving while suspended? just interested to know what some other people have copped in court.

thanks for the input so far everyone!

Tell urs mate to keep driving and he will eventually end up in goal :D

Can you get a motorbike license if u have a suspended car license?

I so wish this were true my fine friend.

Unfortunately in NSW at least, the motorcycle license is the same as the car one but it has an "M" stamped on it.

You use the same 12 points, the same RTA record.

You can't win. You can't even break even.

phuq the police.

Something you should think about when driving unlicenced is that all insurance is null and voided...

If you hit someone (big big bucks, $100,000+, compo, rehab etc) or some car, you'll have no insurance cover, so also hope you don't hit a merc or something.

compo+rehab is paid for by the TAC/Vicroads, not u or the insurance company. Thats why you pay such high rego fees to cover that.
