After getting another damaged drivers side weathershield from a fellow forum member (thanks Bentwagon), I repaired it as my one was really really bad and got it painted to match the car.

For those who have damaged ones consider glueing them if salvageable, and then paint them, look much nicer than the natural tinted colour.

These are getting really hard to get and not available from Nissan anymore. post-38455-0-24542900-1370609163_thumb.jpgpost-38455-0-37069500-1370609241_thumb.jpgpost-38455-0-09086100-1370609334_thumb.jpg

Painted black on a white car perhaps?

It will give it a contrast similar to the roof rails/roof mould, rubbers around windows, etc but hangon the windows are tinted black (light tint on fronts) so I'm guessing would look good if black on any colour car? Also would just be darker than that factory yellow/purple tinted crap colour.

Maybe somebody could photoshop with a few colours of weathersheilds on different colored cars?

  • 1 month later...

my driversside has cracked almost right to the rear of the car, im going to get them off - if I can work out how and glue them up and then the idea is to use tinting spray so they are not blacked out :)

thats if the glue doesnt show up onces ive fixed them up
