Engine Identification

Hey guys,

Was wondering if anyone could help me out with identifying what r33 s1 rb25 motor I have if its rb25de or rb25det

I have the block number rb25 125507a

I have rung nissan New Zealand and they cant tell from the block number, apparently the program "nissan fast" can?

The engine has no turbo side parts so no manifold etc so looks like it could be either de or det

Any other way of telling or somewhere to go with that block number?

look at the oil and coolant feed on the block. if they are plugged I would say it is a non turbo

for a start, if it has no turbo side parts then it's not going to be a DE-T unless the turbo parts were removed. apart from that, i think other people will be able to point you in some direction.

also oil drain. should be heaps obvious!
