Waynes Rb26/30De N/a Built R31- In Progress

Recommended Posts

my mates done nearly the exactly the same as mine, less compression then mine, less aggressive cams and it made 180kw on 98 so that's why I was hoping for atleast 200 on e85, my engine builder is pretty positive it will make 200kw, but the proof is in the pudding!

Dyno sheet - Mild Tune (will push it a bit later when its proven to be all well)
Engine torque is that divided by the diff ratio. 3.7 in this case
Annnd its on a hub Dyno hence the power curve "interuptions", if it was on a roller it would be smooth as silk.

yeah mate 167.6 down the bottom

did end up making 170 odd by the end of the day, although I need to adjust the cam timing to get a few more revs out of her and upgrade the cat back exhaust, also tempted to get the throttle body's enlarged and sealed properly, one has a slight leak on idle causing a very minor miss, pretty sure EFI hardware will do that for me.

That was just 98, E85 actually didn't make any more power but the car sounded a lot nicer, sounded smoother through the rev range aswell. which I was sort of disappointed by but in an NA build all gains are very minimal.
