As some of you know ive just installed my new engine in my r32. As much as id like to start it Im sorta stuck without a intercooler.

Not going into detail, I fing the Jap quality far better than Australian made items.

For now its just stocker turbo (highflowed, steel wheeled), stocker manifolds, pod, and 3" exhaust for the run in.

After that a GT35/40R, HKS cast manifold, ext. wastgt., greddy intake, set of 256 -264 cams, 3.5" full stainless. Got everything else :)

So can ayone suggest a kit i could use now and later when all the other stuff goes on bumping it up to 350 odd rwkw??

Should i just buy a core, and have the piping made up?? What size??

I dunno which way to go, so any help appreciated. :D

Your average (trust, HKS, Apexi) 600 x 300 x 76 aftermarket cooler should be good for 600+bhp.

If you go for a thicker cooler you may find you cannot fit the A/C cooling fan - something to consider. I had my fan go down in summer (motor burnt out) and the A/C didnt do much on the hot days.

I think you may need to get the piping made, as the kits for the coolers are generally designed for OEM fitment.
