R34 Steering Wheel Change?

Hey guys,

I wanna change my steering wheel I'm getting another stock wheel can I use that plus my current airbag module?

Also has anyone done this any advice?

You should be able too if its all the same! Not 100% sure of the procedure on the Skylines as i've not removed mine as yet but i would assume you disconnect the battery and simply do the changeover BUT make sure you dont damage any wires or the clockspring etc....

I am sure there are others than have done this and can actually help though

Is your 34 Auto or Manual, Series 1 or Series 2 ?

Series 1 and Series 2 don't mix on the Auto 34

It's pretty simple process. Undo any plugs from the bottom of the wheel, undo 2 bolts that holds the airbag on (1 on each side). Then undo the massive bolt in the middle along with using a steering wheel puller and it will pop out.

Just make sure you put it on the way that you took it off, so you don't need to realign your steering wheel to your wheels.

thanks guys this will hopefully be rather simple as well, because i have something nice coming from Japan =)
