How often do Engines or Turbos Blow on a Dyno? and is it mostly modified cars that Blow up or do relatively stock cars Pop too?

I've never seen it happen in person.

Most dyno mishaps in videos that I've seen are from not strapping the car down rather than engine or turbo failure.

honestly its vary rare, If a car blows up on a dyno it was going to blow up anyway. Come along people it will be a good day! we can't get beaten by the rexnet guys! I would be throwing mine on but itl be sitting next to the dyno half pulled apart. Ill still go though. Rob bring Rosie along as well! its a good opportunity. Who knows when the next dyno day will be.

On a side note Ultimate tunes WRX did a 60.118 or something around wakie on the weekend. It's a bloody machine!

$50 bucks is pretty decent for a dyno run. It's unfortunate that some of our big power GTRs are not coming Cough* Kat Cough* so we won't be showing the most power on the day.....If my car was done id be seing 380-400 but it's going to be a while.
