I haven't changed the box oil yet because I'm being tight, I'll probably do it next week.

But I fiddled with the boost T and it's now smooth through the rev range when manually changing.

Reset the ecu and drove it hard and it now revs through OK automatically, but it still isn't the best or where I would like it.

Can manually changing the box have any ill effects? I've read mixed reports

It seems as though the only way to really fix it would be to make it manual. Yes a tune will make the engine smoother but you can't tune an auto box or the chip

can't edit:

The car is still losing power when it loses traction... Can anyone tell me if theirs does the same? I'd like to work it out before i make it awd again.

Could be the auto slipping. Regarding the "slow-rev" I had a similiar problem when I bought mine, turns out the fuelpressure was way too high. Slap on a broadband lambda and have a look-see.
