Hey peoples,

I is new here and just need some advice on my33. When i pull up to lights or am in situations where i put clutch in at low speeds, sometimes the engine idles real low or stalls. Sometimes when i start it, it idles very low as well. If anyone has any advice on what the problem maybe that would be great.

cheers

J

My r33 has always idled superbly up until about 3mths ago when all of a sudden it started to rough idle / stall when (only) braking/clutching coming towards lights or around carparks etc. I thought it may have been fuel related because I go to the same BP every week so I changed back to my local Optimax station and still the same thing.

Then I discovered this thread and realised my problem was alittle more of a known fault. This morning I got the fuel pump earthed out (as mentioned in that thread) and the car now idles superbly again. I have only done 15km since this change but have already noticed a massive difference.
