Slightly more technical than that would be a bolt on spacer.Realistically they should have tolerances but shouldn't be too much of an issue if it's just teaching you to use the machine. Still requires some measuring and tool paths. Like the heater core pipes. those plastic ones that bolt onto the core and cost $120 each. One has a simple valve for heater control. You could get a ball valve or something for that bit.
