02 Sensor !

Hay guys in process of putting my gt30 on my r34!

Just wondering where or how far I should mont my o2 sensor on the dump pipe!

Are you talking about the standard narrow band or do you have an aftermarket wideband setup to install?

Stock narrowband can be mounted about 10-30cm downstream from the turbo outlet. But if you are playing with aftermarket ECU's (depending on which one you have) it may not be needed so just think about if it is needed.

As for wideband. Mine is mounted just before the Cat from memory. Mines an AEM unit and suggests about 1 metre or more of pipe before the sensor, and that the sensor is mounted about 30 degrees above the horizontal line

Ive got my aem mounted in the stock location. Its been there for about 1.5 years now.

If it's a wideband and in the stock location it will degrade much quicker than if it's further down towards the cat.
