Recommended Posts

Gday Guys, My names Brad Heasman, thought id quickly introduce myself here before I meet all of you on Friday night.

I currently work in sales and marketing in our Bilstein department, but did 3 years as a mechanic in our workshop. Im 21, love nissans, and I own and race a Nissan s14 time attack car. (which you will see on Friday)

On the night we will be having a bbq, so when you arrive there will be some food and drinks here, We will have our Bilstein engineers here, our sales guys, and some of the workshop guys here for you to talk to, or ask any general questions while we eat.

Look forwed to meeting you all!

Hi Brad and welcome to Skylines Australia NSW.

My son Clinton and I have been experimenting with suspension components for a number of years now and have accumulated a collection of Buddy Club, Ohlin and Pedders shocks before we went down the Bilstein path. During this time we have received a degree of assistance and advice from your staff plus a number of components through this journey.

On our R33 GTS-T we started with PSS9's from a GTR with fabricated spacers due to the difference in shock length between GTR's and GTS-T's.

To reduce unsprung weight and clearance issues we then moved on to Eibach springs with Pedders top mount blocks that allowed the use of standard top hats instead of the HKS style which chop the bushes out in a very short time.

We then focused on the rear suspension and decided to install a completely refurbished GTR rear cradle to improve our drive train and allow the use of matching Bilstein PSS9 shocks.

We have been very impressed with the quality of the Bilstein product and we a now working through what seems to be a never ending set up and adjustment adventure.

I hope that you and your staff can provide some advice with ride height changes and the impact on roll centre and roll couple pertcntage.

I would like to go to this but won't be able to get there until after 6:30pm. Will that be a problem?

Finally pulled my finger out and sent my SAU membership and payment through today. :)
