Hi,

I recently saw an R34 with Evo 8 seats.

These are reclining, nice, and somewhat match the colour theme of my Skyline.

Has anyone here ever done this?

Is it a straight forward process using my old seat rails and and transplanting these to the Evo seats?

I can weld and grind but is there anything else to take into consideration?

Cheers .,,,

Just remember, evo seats don't have a flip forward feature, so basically makes the rear seat redundant. Wouldn't want someone stuck in there if worst case happens.

I have a set of evo 8 seats in my 32, used bride rails to fit and were a lot lower than the adapters you can buy for the existing sliders. The evo seats replaced a set of 33 gtst seats that were unmodified. Super comfy, grip nicely, and look good.

anyone that fitted a recaro seat to a skyline, do the seats sit high ?

Not sure about a Recaro but my Sparco Sprint V sits pretty high (= higher than stock) on a 'low mount' Bride rail, bottom mounted.

Stock R34 GTT rails are super low, not sure if it's the same with the R33.
