Will keep the stock bonnet prop in situ (JIC) but nice to use the struts and not have it in the way.

Would hate to have the aluminium bonnet flexed over or slammed shut due to sudden gusty winds.

Do you think that these would be suitable for a carbon bonnet?

I would hate to keep flexing the bonnet due to the force applied by the dampeners while opening and closing.

I'm thinking similar thoughts to R32GOJIRA.

I own a 33 GTST, but am wanting to put a GTR bonnet on it.

Will the weight difference between steel and aluminium bonnet be an issue?

I'd also have to swap the bonnet hinges from GTST to GTR too, will these brackets fit either?

The 32 dampers are weak enough for carbon bonnets.

The 33 dampers are a bit firmer so would need to do a test on them to be sure it would be ok for carbon.

Im sure if you got them your cf bonnet and they were too strong you could sell them onto someone else...

Im going to them to my fg bonnet and see how they go

Installed on my ER34 today, pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/82729085@N08/sets/72157634632200282/

Very happy with them, bolted up in a couple of minutes. The struts feel quite strong, don't think the bonnet would fall down even in a strong breeze.
