thanks for opinion

i will defenatly be looking into - little things like this i didn know about which are appreciated

Tyres are a serious safety issue on a trailer, I have experienced first hand a blowout on a mate's trailer using crappy old car tyres. After I got up him about it he went out and bought four new light truck tyres. Not that I expect any thanks for the warning............

yeah my 2nd hand trailer came with 5 car tyres, it wasn't until the 3rd one blew out (snapping some studs as it left for a cow paddock) that I moved to light truck tyres. never had an issue in 000s of klm after that.

yep, slow learner

+1 on LT tyres. The only way to go for tandem axle trailers. Do it before you go on that long drive!

Chequerplate ramps are completely hopeless in the wet. Better off with ladder style ramps or an open mesh - lighter too. Something not too expensive to sort out in the future.

I thought side-marker/running lights were a requirement for trailers more than a certain width, which is prety much all car trailers.
